First United Methodist Church of Tullahoma

First United Methodist Church of Tullahoma traces its origin to 1854 when a deed was signed for the church lot.

The present structure, which was completed in 1955, has undergone extensive remodeling as well as three major additions. The architecture is Gothic with its characteristic high cathedral ceilings and stained glass windows adorning two sides of the church building.

The First Christian Church remains in the original location at the corner of Jackson St. and Grundy Street. The original building, being constructed of hand-made bricks dated back to the early 1860’s. The main portion of the original building, also retains the metal roof.
