Sidney Condra
As a long-time member of the Parthenon Porcelain Painters, the Tennessee Porcelain Artists, and the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center, examples of her work are on display at the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center. Sidney enjoys working primarily in the porcelain medium but also does oils, watercolors, and stained glass. She has many murals on display at the former Bel Aire Church of Christ, the Church of Christ at Cedar Lane and in many homes in the area.
Her love for art began at an early age and she has studied, and been influenced, by many artists from local artisans, like the late Lois Heald and Cornelia Ilgnar, and nationally renownd artists Sando, Nancy Fisher, Barbara Walker, and Paula Collins. “The great thing about art is you can easily pick up the basics of color or line, but you can spend your whole life trying to get it all to come together,” says Sidney.
